Regulations 

INTERNATIONAL FLAG RUN

1. EVENT ORGANIZER:

• Polish Military Contingent
• The event is supported by polish soldiers.

2. MAIN GOALS:

• The Celebration of the Flag Day of the Polish Republic;

• Popularization and promotion of running as the simplest form of movement.

3. DATE AND PLACE:

• Date: 2 May 2018 r. (Wednesday).
• Time: 9:00.
• Start Line: Parade Square
• Finish Line: Polish Side/Sea Containers
• Distance: about 10 km.
• Every participant starts at one time from the start line.

4.  ORGANIZATIONAL MATTERS:

• Time limit: 2 h.
• Participants limit: 200 PAX.

•  Judges will supervise the proper course of the competition.The nutritional points on the route will be located on 5 km of routes and on the finish line.
• Participants are in any sports outfit (t-shirts from the starter package or a red or white shirt are preferred);
• Length of the run: around 10 kilometers - marked every 1km;
• The route will run - an asphalt road (about 5.5km), a gravel road (about 1.5km), a forest road (about 3km).

5. PARTICIPATIONS:

• They will show an identity document;

• Make a starting fee - 14 €
• They will abide by the rules set out in these Regulations;

•   Players during registration sign a statement on the lack of health contraindications to participate in long-distance runs and their own responsibility for all health consequences associated with participating in this race.

• In the statement, competitors also consent to the publication of their results and image (eg personal table of results, publication of photos, etc.).

• Competitors who do not meet the above conditions will not be allowed to compete;

• Every soldier from the eFP BG is allowed to take part in this event. There is no restrictions about age. If you want to check yourself on this distance or you want to run for fun join us.
• PART OF THE ROUTE (about 2.5 km) IS PUBLIC ROAD ON WHICH YOU SHOULD OBSERVE THE ROAD TRAFFIC - we move to the right side of the road paying attention to driving motor vehicles.
• Critical intersections will be secured by traffic regulation.

                                 Financing rules:

• Players pay a starting fee of 14 €.
• In case of paying the entry fee and resignation of the competitor from participation in the competition, the deposit will not be refunded.
• The starting fee includes the regeneration meal (issued after the run) and the t-shirt (in the starter packet) and occasional medal (after completing the run).

7. CLASSIFICATIONS:

• During 10 km run there will be classification: Open Men and Open Women.
• For places I-III in the general classification of women and men.
•  Everyone who completes the race will receive commemorative medals.

8. FINAL PROVISION AND SAFETY REGULATIONS:

• Participants will be allowed to take their starter packet from the 12:00 to 14:30 at 1 May 2018 in the DIFAC;

• At the route will stay a lot of sentries that will be responsible for showing direction of movement;
• After last competitors will follow vehicle that will help participants that will not finish the race;
• The organizers provide medical care (related to running) during the running event;
• The organizers are not responsible for any damage caused to participants and for items left unprotected or stolen during the competition;
• The organizers reserve the right to change the regulations in special situations
• The final interpretation of the provisions of the above regulations is only granted to the organizer;
